1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

WanderbareWunderwelt / Hiking guide Nadja Hartl organizes and leads hikes, excursions, treks, courses, snowshoe tours, and other activities. These are summarized below under the term "tours."

2. REGISTRATION

Registration is required in writing. This constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. You will receive all further information after receiving your registration.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

For all tours, payment is due before the start of the tour, in cash or Twint. For day tours, payment is due on the day of the tour. For multi-day tours or hiking weeks, payment must be made 14 days before the tour.

4. RATES

Prices for customized tours are agreed between the guest and the hiking guide before the tour and communicated in writing. The fee is CHF 500 per full day (5 hours or more) CHF 380 per half day (max. 4 hours) (The rates are based on the recommendations of the Swiss Mountain Guide Association) Individual prices for group hikes or vary and are usually stated in the advertised tour. The fee may also vary depending on the length of the excursion, the hike, the difficulty, the number of guests, and seasonal capacity. All expenses are borne by the guest.

5. SERVICES

The services included in the price vary depending on the offer and can be found in the respective description. Not included are generally any drinks and meals, as well as transportation costs.

6. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Good health and appropriate equipment are required for all tours. The guest is obligated to inform the tour guide in advance of any health restrictions. WanderbareWunderwelt reserves the right to refuse a guest before or during a tour. (Failure to meet the participation requirements, insufficient or defective equipment, excessive demands, inappropriate behavior, etc.) If a guest is refused for the reasons stated above, there is no right to a refund.

7. CANCELLATION FEES

Cancellation by the Guest

Cancellation by the guest must be notified in writing. Any cancellation by the guest will be charged as follows: Up to 14 days before the start of the agreed tour - Free of charge 13 - 7 days before the start of the agreed tour - 50% of the price 6 - 0 days before the start of the agreed activity - 100% of the price If the guest cancels a tour prematurely, there is no right to a refund. Those who arrange a suitable replacement are exempt from the cancellation fee.

Cancellation by WanderbareWunderwelt

If WanderbareWunderwelt cancels a tour due to failure to reach the required minimum number of participants, the guest will be informed before the tour. For day hikes/excursions - 2 days before the tour For treks and multi-day tours - 7 days before the tour If guests are willing to accept a price increase, the tours can also be conducted with fewer participants. The following applies: For day hikes/excursions: an additional CHF 25 per person For treks/multi-day tours: an additional CHF 75 per person

8. PROGRAM CHANGES/SAFETY

WanderbareWunderwelt tours generally take place in all weather conditions. However, due to weather conditions, a tour may be canceled, replaced with another destination, or even abandoned if necessary. WanderbareWunderwelt reserves the right to make program changes for safety reasons or in the event of unforeseeable events. Additional costs resulting from program changes are borne by the guest.

9. GROUPS

Participation in group activities requires tolerance, understanding, and adaptability from every guest. WanderbareWunderwelt reserves the right to exclude guests who cannot integrate into the group from a tour without entitlement to a refund.

10. INSURANCE

The hiking guide has professional liability insurance. Guests are recommended to have personal liability insurance and cancellation insurance. Furthermore, guests must have accident/health insurance. REGA membership is also recommended.

11. SAFETY

The hiking guide cannot guarantee absolute safety from objective dangers in the mountains. The guest accepts the inherent residual risk of hiking, which remains despite all careful planning and prudent guidance.

The guest is obligated to follow the hiking guide's instructions to ensure the safe completion of a tour and to report any health problems to the guide in a timely manner. It is also important that the hiking guide be informed of any existing unsteadiness, fear of heights, or similar issues before the tour.

The hiking guide is available to lead the entire group during the tour and only in exceptional cases for the personal care of individual guests. The hiking guide makes decisions in the interest of the group and the safety of the group. Instructions given must be followed. Short-term route or program changes may be made by the hiking guide if safety is at risk.

The final decision always rests with the hiking guide. In such a case, any additional costs for transport, accommodation, etc. are always borne by the guest.

12. NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT

Some of the tours lead off-trail and through protected areas. Guests are to respect the flora and fauna and show consideration. WanderbareWunderwelt reserves the right to exclude guests who do not comply with the relevant nature conservation regulations from a tour, without any right to reimbursement.

13. JURISDICTION

Swiss courts have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes, regardless of the value of the damage or nationality.

14. DATA PROTECTION

WanderbareWunderwelt uses guest data to process registrations. All data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties.
